Built from lived experience, this innovation is designed to help TVET students improve understanding, pass examinations, and transition successfully into the world of work.
This solution was created by a former TVET student who witnessed first-hand the challenges faced by learners across South Africa.
While studying at a Western TVET College, I observed how students struggled with limited access to textbooks, outdated materials, and exhausting exam preparation processes. Flipping through heavy textbooks repeatedly during exam season often led to frustration, stress, and poor performance.
At the same time, over 90% of students spend most of their time on mobile phones. Instead of fighting this reality, KDC chose to transform mobile phones into powerful learning tools — accessible, interactive, and aligned with official curricula.
